A lot of focus and attention in the CTA preparation goes to the knowledge part of the exam as these sections – consisting of System Architecture, Security, Data, Solution Architecture, Integration and Development Lifecycle and Deployment Planning – make up six out of the seven domains outlined in the exam guide and it is clear that being a smooth talker without knowledge of these sections will not likely result in a good outcome. However, this does not mean that the Communication section can be skipped or overlooked as it will prove vital in ensuring your competence and expertise is picked up by the panel of judges.
Time constraints and English as a second or third language can further hinder the intended message being delivered successfully. The intention of this session is to break down the communication section and provide pointers and techniques on how to make the presentation more digestible and the Q&A more efficient.
